It is often said that information is the key to knowledge and knowledge, the key to development. If this is true, then the NTA website is definitely serving its purpose.
During the launch of the website, it was agreed that the general reader public will be able to access more information about the NTA, its activities and programmes. The information in the website is becoming more and more popular especially with Training providers and trainees. Assessors and verifiers would also find very useful information to aid them in their respective fields.
The recent past have witnessed the validation of the Registration and Accreditation instruments by training providers and trainers in skills training and development.
As stated in my maiden message, the website encapsulates the overall activities of the management of skills training and development in the Gambia, including the law that administers it, its policy and institutional arrangements.
Policies and institutional arrangement, as you know, guide the running of any viable institution and regulates its functions. I would therefore, urge all who intend to operate as a training provider to register and be accredited to aid us in our desire for skills development in the Gambia.
